Photo-Stealth Camouflage Technology Unveiled

Military Wraps Inc. has unveiled today a patent-pending, camouflage technique enabling military units to conceal vehicles, aircraft, UAVs, boats or hardware by blending them in the surrounding scene.

The company unveiled the new camouflage at the U.S. Special Operations trade show (SOFEX 2007) and will also display again at the SpecOps East Warfighter Symposium and Expo next week.

According to Trevor J. Kracker, president of Military Wraps, unlike the 'hyperstealth' technique that utilize computer graphics to deform a pattern, Military-Wraps utilize proprietary 'Photo-Stealth' and 'Photo-Real' site-specific camouflage technique to combine photographic digital detailing and print them over vinyl-adhesive wraps that are designed to match a surrounding terrain so vividly that vehicles, weapons, and equipment can seem to disappear into the surrounding battlefield environment.

Military Wraps was established earlier in 2007 to promote the new technology. The company announced today it selected MACtac a subsidiary of the Bemis Company, Inc., (NYSE:BMS), to deliver the vinyl for the new system.
