The Army's new prototype combat vehicle, a non-line-of-sight cannon built by BAE Systems in partnership with General Dynamics Land Systems, is described by Deepak Bazaz, armament systems deputy, as it was shown to the media for the first time at BAE headquarters Friday, May 23, 2008 in Minneapolis.

The new two-man vehicle, viewed earlier in the day by Gen. George Casey, is intended to give Army soldiers greater survivability and performance on the battlefield. It is still several years away from being used in combat.
