Combat Management System PT. LEN Industri (Persero)

Combat Management System (CMS) is used in navy ships to locate target positions accurately. CMS is supported by navigation and other combat equipments.

The system has 4 layers :

Detection Layer consists of sensors that detect target data such as latitude, longitude, speed, course, and heading, and weather conditions such as wind direction, wind speed, and temperature.

Acquisition Layer is where the data are stored and processed to provide further data about the target.

Analysis Layer is where the data are analysed to support in decision making on what to be done.

Action Layer is where the operator conducts the actions commanded by the Operation Commander. Action Layer is used to activate Gun controller and Missile Controller.
