4 wheel Amphibious APC by Pindad

During TNI Operation in Aceh, lots of TNI trucks were being ambushed by GAM (Gerakan Aceh Merdeka). TNI asked Pindad to build a new vehicle that could give better protection to soldiers, cheap, easy to maintain and must be delivered into service in shortime after.

APR (Angkut Personil Ringan) - Light Personel Carrier

They soon came up with APR-1-V1, a 4-wheeled APC based from commercial Isuzu truck. With 4.570cc Diesel engine it produce 3.200 HP, It could carry up to 12 persons and speed up till max 100 kmh.





Pindad also made further variant from APR-1, it called APR-2. I only got two pictures which I assumed to be APR-2, CMIIW.
